Peter Benjamin Peter has over 25 years experience in engineering and has played a leadership role for much of his career. After gaining experience at a consultancy firm in Trinidad, he moved to Antigua where he quickly be came an integral part of the Antigua Public Utilities Authority. Over a period of 17 years, he gained valuable experience in the planning, budgeting, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems. |

During this time he served as the company’s general manager, a position in which he guided a 750 person team, made critical decisions which resulted in the steady growth of the company, and prevented fluctuations in the base rate of utility services, including electricity, water, and telecommunication. In addition, he oversaw the introduction and development of APUA PCS, the country’s most successful indigenous cellular service provider. Peter holds a Master’s in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, from the University of the West Indies. |
